Planning for the future is not about expecting the worst. It is about building confidence, identifying opportunities, and putting practical arrangements in place gradually over time. Small steps taken today can make a significant difference in the future.

Every person's journey is different. Planning may include thinking about health, housing, education or employment, finances, relationships, community participation, and the support that may be needed as circumstances change. Because the oldest recognised adults with FVSD are only now reaching later adulthood, there is still much to learn about ageing with the condition. This makes forward planning and continued research especially important.
